YES on Measure J

To improve public transportation, increase pedestrian and bicycling options, and reduce microplastic pollution from our roads

Measure J will improve access to bicycle, pedestrian, and high‐quality public transit options to reduce harmful emissions and water pollution from roadways across Contra Costa. Save The Bay and partners advocated for innovative performance standards to ensure reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled (VMTs), protections against displacement, strengthened public oversight, and a first-of-its-kind mitigation fund for projects that do not reduce VMTs.
